‘Generation Z: Meet the Young Millennials’
Tuesday 27th June, 4pm to 6pm, BPI County Hall

 
The latest in the regular series of BPI Insight Sessions will be staged jointly with the Entertainment Retailers Association (ERA) and will be presented in partnership with MiDiA Research and Music Ally.
 
The event for BPI/ERA members and industry guests and media will take place on Tuesday 27th June at the BPI’s County Hall offices between 4pm to 6pm.
 
Generation Z: Meet the Young Millennials will explore the music consumption habits and social behaviour of today’s teenagers. Key areas of focus will include:

·         Which services are teenagers using to discover/play music, and how does this differ from older music fans?

·         Which social and messaging platforms are the teens using and how?
·         How are new devices and tech shaping how Gen Z lead their lives?
·         How do Gen Z music fans expect to engage with their favourite artists?
·         How should labels, services and retailers most effectively communicate with and market to Gen Z music fans?
·         What other aspects of Gen Z behaviour should influence today’s marketers?

The event, to be chaired by Music Ally’s Paul Brindley, will feature a keynote presentation from MiDiA Research’s Mark Mulligan that will form the basis of a new BPI/ERA report. Generation Z: Meet the Young Millennials will also present a range of industry case studies focused on reaching the Gen Z market. The evening will conclude with a panel discussion featuring, amongst others, Tiffany Tasker from SuperAwesome, a digital media platform focused on young teens.

Previous BPI Insight Sessions have explored In-Car Tech and Entertainment, Blockchain, VR and, most recently, AI & Music.
