Todrick Hall, Jamie Laing, Yasmin Evans, Vick Hope, Michael Whitehall, Montana Brown, Mark Ferris and The Slumflower will bring The BRIT Awards 2019 to a worldwide audience from every angle including YouTube Music, the official Music App of BRITs 2019

Wednesday 20th February at The O2 Arena, London
Watch 8pm GMT / 3pm ET / 12pm PT on ITV/STV in the UK and YouTube.com/BRITs outside the UK

A stellar line-up of broadcast talent, personalities and influencers will present this year’s BRIT Awards across all social platforms.

US entertainer and YouTube creator Todrick Hall, who counts 2.9m subscribers on the platform, will lead the charge and present the YouTube Live Stream of the show to an international audience from 7.45pm GMT / 2:45pm ET / 11:45am PT on Wednesday 20th February. Vick Hope will join Todrick as co-host and once the show is over, they will continue broadcasting an everyone’s-invited Official After Party on YouTube, recapping the biggest moments from show night. Last year over 1.5 million viewers internationally tuned in to watch the BRITs 2018 live stream, and an incredible 14 million people watched the live performances video-on-demand following the show.

Following the show, viewers can relive performances and highlights exclusively on YouTube and YouTube Music - the official Music App of BRITs 2019. YouTube Music, the new music app made by YouTube, brings the ways music moves you all in one place - not just music videos, but official albums, singles, remixes, live performances, covers and hard-to-find music you can’t get anywhere else.

The BRITs 2019 coverage will kick off with Red Carpet coverage at 16:30 GMT, streamed live on Facebook for the fourth consecutive year. This year, Jamie Laing and Yasmin Evans will present live, with millions around the world expected to watch as the music industry’s biggest names arrive at The O2 in London.

In addition, Montana Brown and Mark Ferris will update live on the BRITs Instagram channel and their own from The O2 as BRITs Insiders, getting you behind-the-scenes backstage and around the arena.

Throughout the campaign, The BRITs have launched a new episodic social series for its Instagram channel, including Woman Crush Wednesdays with Chidera Eggerue aka The Slumflower and The BRITs Throwback with Michael Whitehall, father of Jack, who is hosting this year’s main show.

Alongside the presenter led content, additional activations across every major social platform throughout the event night will drive engagement among a new generation of BRITs fans.

This includes:

- A fan-powered Twitter Cam with Mastercard giving viewers the personalised snapshots of Red Carpet arrivals, a first for the BRITs

- Giphy will be live gif’ing the whole show producing hundreds of gifs alongside a suite of giphy stickers available for use in Instagram stories

- A global Snapchat story covering all the night’s key moments

- A new partnership with Jungle Creations, showcasing original content across three of their major channels, including recreating famous BRITs looks on The Look, Red Carpet Challenges on VT and weekend recipe tutorials with artists on Twisted Food.

- The world's leading destination for short-form mobile videos TikTok will be live streaming from the BRITs Red Carpet together with Presenter Laura Edwards and Comedian Philip Green. The hosts will be interviewing the stars of the Red Carpet from 5.30pm-7.30pm live on the TikTok app @TikTok_UK. Fans from around the UK are also joining in the #BRITsThankYouSpeech hashtag challenge in-app, showing us their best creative videos.

Our aim at all times is to keep bringing the BRITs audience that bit closer to the nominated and performing artists, and to this end we are working with some of the best presenter and influencer talent around as we look to grow our global profile and shine an ever bigger spotlight on to the Awards. Whether it’s sharing the thrill of the red carpet arrivals or the spectacular drama of the on-stage performances, our social platforms will capture it all to give fans intimate access to Britain’s premier annual music event.

“Once again, I owe a huge thank you to Dorothy Hui at Sony Music and to all of the label representatives on the BRITs Digital Committee, who have worked tirelessly and with great passion to ensure that The BRITs continue to innovate in the digital space.  I’m also thrilled to have YouTube Music as The Official App of BRITs 2019.”

Lyor Cohen, Global Head of Music, YouTube - “We are thrilled that YouTube Music is the official Music App of the BRITs 2019 and that YouTube will be the international livestream partner for an amazing sixth consecutive year. We are looking forward to delivering huge reach for this brilliant showcase of UK music talent and can’t wait to see Todrick Hall put on a great show for viewers around the world. And for those who aren’t able to tune into the livestream can enjoy exclusive performances and highlights from the evening on YouTube Music following the show. This is an exciting time, and we are happy to be partnering with The BRIT Awards and the music industry on this major moment for British talent.”

Dorothy Hui, Sony Music UK - 4th Floor Creative’s VP of Digital - “Over the last two show campaigns, we have expanded The BRITs digital footprint to fully integrate key platforms and widen the reach of The BRITs brand. For 2019, we’re focused on deepening engagement across platforms. We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to embrace the strength of the YouTube community with YouTube Music now onboard as Official Music App. Meanwhile, our diverse slate of talent and personalities brings new energy and perspectives to the BRITs audience leading up to and on show day.”
