We say

Hitting you smack in the guts right from the off, and barely stopping as it lands a torrent of sucker punches, this full-on indie guitar corker of a tune comes from unsigned Coventry band The Ellipsis. Henry, John, Harry and Alex got together in 2013 when they were teenagers and have neatly honed their writing and performing skills, playing venues across the country, opening up the local Godiva Festival in their hometown and even keeping 32,000 rugby fans entertained at the Wasps stadium. Previous singles Wasted Potential Me and Cold Cactus have helped the boys get support from Huw Stephens at Radio 1, Kerrang! and Amazing Radio, but this energetic track is clearly their best yet. Engineered by the band’s lead guitarist John Connearn, it was mixed by Darren Lawson, who’s worked with White Lies, Placebo and Wolfmother amongst others. It may be thought that guitar bands are over, yet the grassroots UK live scene is buzzing with fresh meat like this. Exciting, loaded with vigour, and all the skills that pays the bills, start banging their door down demanding to hear more.
